With under 24-hrs to go, supporters of the annual Pedal Power Dig In at the Dock cyclo-cross race are polishing their cowbells and dusting down their bobble-hats.
The race is quickly turning into one of the best of the Scottish cyclo-cross calendar and the organisers – Dave Hamill and John McComisky – are looking forward to welcoming another great crowd this year.
Pedal Power caught up with Dave as he puts final touches to tomorrows event:
This year should be a great carnival atmosphere with something for everyone – it’s not just about a bunch of cyclist wizzing around a muddy field!! We’ve got free face-painting for the kids and a samba-band. There’s also hot food and drink available so please come along and support this great local event.
The racing starts at 1pm but we suggest you get there earlier so you get a good spot to watch – and remember your cowbells – the bigger the better!!
