Description

The Ridgeback MX26 is a versatile, confidence-building bike for older kids aged 9 to 13 who are ready for bigger rides and more independence. Whether it's cycling to school, weekend trails, or family adventures, the MX26 is built to keep up, with quality components, a lightweight frame, and a ride that feels grown-up and fun.

Why Parents Love It

  • Reliable and Durable: Built to handle real-world use, from commutes to rougher paths, while staying low maintenance.
  • Gears for Growth: A 7-speed Shimano drivetrain helps young riders tackle hills and build skill on longer, more varied routes.
  • Lightweight Frame: The aluminum frame is easy to handle and keeps things nimble for adventurous kids.
  • Great Fit for Growing Riders: Designed with junior proportions in mind for a smooth, confident ride as kids transition toward adult bikes.

Designed for Bigger Adventures

With 26-inch wheels, the Ridgeback MX26 is ideal for children roughly 135–160cm tall. It features comfortable geometry, responsive handling, and all-round capability, ready for school runs, park loops, and off-road fun alike.

Key Features

  • Durable, lightweight 6061 heat-treated aluminum frame
  • 26-inch wheels with multi-terrain tyres for grip and versatility
  • 7-speed Shimano gearing with easy-to-use Revoshift shifter
  • Junior-specific saddle and handlebars for control and comfort

The Ridgeback MX26 is more than just a kids' bike, it's a step toward independence. With real-bike feel and everyday practicality, it's designed to grow with your child and support their adventures, big and small.
